Beyond the Film Festival: Intro
Beyond the Film Festival is a new show on CUTV focusing on film festival coverage relevant to the Montreal community. As an alternative to mainstream media outlets, it will paint a new picture of the cinematic community in Montreal, with unique views and perspectives that reflect the needs, wants and passions of the local community.
The first series for Beyond the film Festival will take a look at the 2012 edition of the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal. A genre film festival running from the 19th of July to the 9th of august, it is 22 days long and features over 160 films. It is one of the longest film festivals in the whole world. Matching the marathon-length of Fantasia, Beyond the Film Festival will be producing daily coverage of the event and we will need your help.

CUTV offers state of the art equipment, editing space and a brand new in house recording studio to it's members. We offer workshops that you can sign up for on our website and welcome people to drop in weekdays from 5-6pm.
